Is age catching up with Brad Pitt? Greying actor limps around with a walking cane

Big Daddy cane: The 47-year-old father-of-six was spotted using a walking stick in Beverly Hills on Thursday

He burst into the limelight 20 years ago wearing little more than a cowboy hat and a smile in the film Thelma & Louise.
Now one of Hollywood's most celebrated hunks is finally showing his age.
Dressed all in black, with a greying beard, the father-of-six was spotted leaving a Beverly Hills skin spa on Thursday with the aid of a walking stick.

Not the man he used to be: Brad was in his mid-20s when he appeared in the 1991 film Thelma & Louise

The 48-year-old actor clutched his mobile phone and his car keys in one hand and the silver cane in the other as he strolled outside.
Less than a month ago the Moneyball star cut a dashing figure as he escorted his partner Angelina Jolie to the Los Angeles premiere of her film, In The Land of Blood and Honey.
And just a few days ago he was pictured on a motorbike going on a quick trip to a Gelson's grocery store with his eight-year-old son Pax.

Hobbling: The Moneyball actor used a cane as he walked to his car from a skincare spa

Wheels: Brad seems cheerful as he prepares to get into his car, on the driver's side

According to JustJared.com the Ocean's Eleven star injured his leg. They quote a source who told them: 'He tore his MCL.'
The 'MCL' is the medial collateral ligament and is one of four ligaments that stabilises the knee.
It is not clear how the actor got the injury, but it didn't seem to sour his mood.
Brad had a smile on his face as he stepped inside his car, on the driver's side.

What a difference a month makes: Brad was by Angelina Jolie's side on December 8, at the Los Angeles premiere of her film, In The Land of Blood and Honey

He may have another reason to be happy, as the Los Angeles Times has reported that the actor's upcoming film World War Z may become a franchise.
Meanwhile, Brad has received rave reviews for his performance in the baseball movie Moneyball.
The Academy Award nominations have yet to be announced but there is already Oscar buzz surrounding the film.
