Holiday Destination: Eiffel Tower The Great Wonder

The Eiffel Tower in Paris wants no demonstration because it is one the most well known monuments in the world where approximately 5 million people visit every year from all corner of the globe.




Your tour wouldn’t be complete in Paris if you are not visiting Eiffel Tower. Even if you do not want to visit this world famous structure you will see its top from all over Paris. The tower rises 300 meters tall (984 ft) when it was finished at the end of the 19th century it was twice as high as the Washington Monument, at the time the tallest structure in the world.




The Tower was designed by Gustave Eiffel that is why it’s called Eiffel Tower. It was completed in 1889 for the Paris world exhibition. The Tower was designed and built just two years by 132 workers and 50 engineers. It is 324 m high and its weight is 7300 tons.

The Merlin Entertainments London Eye is one of the most popular destinations in U.K because it is the largest Ferris wheel in Europe. The height of London eye is 135 m (443 ft) and every year tourist’s visit in a huge numbers.

Since opening in March 2000 The Merlin Entertainments London Eye has become an iconic landmark and a symbol of modern Britain. The London Eye is the UK’s most popular paid for visitor attraction, visited by over 3.5 million people a year.





A breathtaking feat of design and engineering, passengers in the London Eye's capsules can see up to 40 kilometers in all directions.

The London Eye is the vision of David Marks and Julia Barfield a husband and wife architect team. The wheel design was used as a metaphor for the end of the 20th century, and time turning into the new millennium.



Back in 2000, the London Eye was known as the Millennium Wheel. At that time, British Airways was the main sponsor and up until November 2005 they were joint shareholders with Marks Barfield Architects and The Tussauds Group. British Airways also privately funded the London Eye project from the early stages of conception.

Egypt is one of the most famous countries in Africa. It is a very nice and historical place specially its Pyramids. There are lots of places for holidays but Pyramids of Ghiza are most attractive and prominent place of Egypt. Khufu, Kafhre and Menkaura are the biggest pyramids of Ghiza and Each Pyramid is a grave devoted to a different king of Egypt.
